Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role supporting students from kindergarten through 12th grade as an Occupational Therapist with a full-time contract opportunity for the upcoming academic year. Engage in meaningful work with guaranteed hours, delivering a blend of direct and indirect services designed to help children achieve their educational and developmental goals. This position spans from August 6, 2026, through May 27, 2027, with no extra district duties beyond your scheduled workday—meaning your time stays focused entirely on therapeutic support. Travel therapists are also eligible for stipends, adding further appeal to this contract role.
Key Qualifications:
Active state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) Experience working in school-based settings or with pediatric populations Strong knowledge of IEP development and progress monitoring Ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families Excellent communication and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
Provide assessments and deliver therapy for K-12 students in individual and group settings Work collaboratively to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Maintain accurate documentation of services and student progress Participate as a valued member of multidisciplinary teams Travel between sites as needed to meet student needs (travel stipends available)
