This full-time contract opportunity is ideal for an enthusiastic OT or COTA seeking hands-on experience in a school environment while covering a leave, with the possibility of extension through additional assignments. Youll work with a diverse caseload of 50-70 students from pre-K through 6th grade at a single, welcoming campus. Your expertise will help ensure every student gets the support they need to thrive.

Key Qualifications:

Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Arizona licensure (or ability to obtain prior to start) Pediatric or school-based OT/COTA experience preferred Strong collaboration, flexibility, and communication skills Commitment to supporting students functional and academic achievement

Core Responsibilities:

Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students as outlined in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Conduct assessments, document progress, and provide recommendations Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with school protocols Foster a welcoming, positive environment for students from PK-6th grade This assignment begins ASAP and runs through November 30th, following a Monday-Friday, 7:30am-3:30pm schedule (over 30 hours weekly).
