Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students growth as a part-time school-based Occupational Therapist. This dynamic, itinerant position will allow you to work with a range of studentsfrom mild to severe needsacross several educational sites in the area. Youll play a vital role in helping students access their education through tailored therapy and collaborative teamwork.
What Were Looking For:
Active Occupational Therapy license is essential.
Preferred:
Initial certification by the National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy. School-based OT experience is a strong plus. Valid IVP Fingerprint Card required prior to start. Flexibility to travel between multiple sites as an itinerant provider. A collaborative mindset and commitment to serving diverse student populations.
Role Responsibilities:
Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students as outlined in their individualized education plans. Conduct student assessments and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings. Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to design and implement therapy programs for both mild and severe needs. Maintain accurate therapy notes, records, and required documentation. Provide resources and education to staff and families to support student success. Adapt therapy approaches for varying school environments and student caseloads. This is a 0.6 FTE (part-time) position, offering the flexibility to support multiple campuses while making a meaningful difference in students lives.
