Qualifications & Experience:

Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Valid state Occupational Therapist license (or eligibility) Previous experience in a school-based environment strongly preferred Ability to develop and implement IEP goals tailored to individual student needs Strong communication skills to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams Organizational skills to manage caseload, maintain documentation, and meet deadlines Dedication to professional ethics and ongoing development

Role Responsibilities:

Evaluate students needs through assessments and observations to determine therapy requirements Develop individualized treatment plans targeting fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-regulation, and daily living tasks Deliver therapy sessions in one-on-one and small group settings within the educational environment Provide consultation and training for teachers and families to promote students carryover of skills in the classroom and at home Monitor and document progress, adjusting interventions as necessary for optimal outcomes Participate in IEP meetings, providing expert recommendations and collaborating with the broader educational team Contribute to an inclusive and supportive classroom atmosphere for all learners This rewarding position allows you to engage closely with students and staff, making a significant difference in daily school life.
