Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Help make a difference in the lives of students in a vibrant educational setting near Tumacacori, AZ! This contract opportunity offers part-time hours (16 per week) and is ideal for a dedicated Occupational Therapist looking to collaborate with a passionate team. You'll contribute your skills in both traditional and innovative settings, with opportunities to support students on-site, remotely via teletherapy, or even in home health situations.
Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Current state licensure to practice as an OT Experience working in schools, healthcare, home health, or teletherapy settings considered a plus—new grads welcome to apply! Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with students, staff, and families Strong ability to work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure student success
What You'll Do:
Provide occupational therapy services to students, using both in-person and virtual delivery methods as needed Conduct assessments, develop individualized plans, and monitor progress toward therapy goals Support students with a variety of needs to build their independence, fine/gross motor skills, and adaptive skills in educational and home environments Maintain accurate documentation and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings Communicate regularly with teachers, families, and other specialists to maximize each student's potential This part-time contract offers the flexibility to make a real impact while maintaining work-life balance.
