Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract An opening is available for a full-time Occupational Therapist to support an elementary school caseload during the first semester, from August to December, in Camarillo, CA. This contract position offers a structured schedule of 40 hours per week, providing dedicated occupational therapy services tailored to young students' developmental and educational needs.
Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy evaluations, treatments, and progress monitoring focused on elementary-aged children. Develop individualized treatment plans that align with students' goals and educational requirements. Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to integrate therapy goals within the school environment. Document all therapy services in compliance with school policies and regulatory standards. Participate in team meetings, IEP development, and consultation sessions as required.
Qualifications:
Valid Occupational Therapist license with credentials to practice in California. Experience providing occupational therapy services in a school setting preferred. Strong understanding of school-based occupational therapy principles and caseload management. Ability to work effectively with elementary-aged children and multidisciplinary teams. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
