Citrus Heights Post Acute is seeking a compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our rehabilitation team. Competitive pay:
$65-$70/hour DOE $10,000 Sign-On Bonus Supportive interdisciplinary team Modern therapy programs and equipment Opportunities for professional growth and advancement Meaningful work with a strong patient-centered focus Collaborative and positive workplace culture Position Summary The Staff Occupational Therapist evaluates and treats patients, collaborates with physicians and interdisciplinary team members, and maintains accurate documentation of therapy services. This role also provides education and training to staff and caregivers to support patient success and safe discharge planning. Occupational Therapist Responsibilities Evaluate patients within 24 hours or 1 business day of physician referral Develop individualized treatment plans and obtain physician approval Provide occupational therapy treatments per physician orders Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs), aides, and students Communicate patient progress and care plans with interdisciplinary team members Participate in care conferences, rehab meetings, and discharge planning Complete accurate and timely documentation in accordance with state and federal regulations Train nursing staff, restorative aides, patients, and caregivers Recommend and facilitate ordering of adaptive and durable medical equipment Maintain therapy equipment and report repair needs promptly Support a positive and compassionate patient care environment Qualifications Active Occupational Therapist license in California Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy required Master's or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy preferred Skilled nursing or post-acute experience preferred Strong communication and teamwork skills Experience with PointClickCare and Casamba preferred Passion for patient-centered rehabilitation and quality outcomes Apply Today!
