DESCRIPTION
Assessing needs: Evaluating patients to identify their needs and create treatment plans Teaching skills: Helping patients learn to perform daily activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming Improving mobility: Training patients in functional mobility, including how to safely move around the facility and use wheelchairs Recommending changes: Suggesting technology and environmental changes to improve safety and enhance the patient's ability to function Preparing for community reintegration: Helping patients and their families prepare for returning home Summary As an Occupational Therapist, you will utilize your core skills in critical care, patient service, and medical terminology to provide top-notch patient care in various healthcare settings. Your premium skills in speech therapy and case management will enable you to offer comprehensive treatment plans and support to patients. With relevant skills in inpatient, outpatient, and geriatric care, you will address a wide range of occupational health needs. Your experience in teaching will also allow you to educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and strategies.   • Critical care experience
  • Patient service skills
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Acute care experience
  • ICU experience
  • Occupational health background
  • Teaching experience is preferred
  • Speech therapy skills are a plus
  • Case management experience is beneficial
