Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in educational settings by providing specialized occupational therapy services to students. This contract opportunity is ideal for a dedicated professional eager to support young learners in a collaborative school environment near Fremont, CA. The role is onsite, part-time, and perfect for those who are passionate about enhancing student development. What you'll bring: Valid license, or eligibility for licensing, to practice as an Occupational Therapist in California in accordance with the California Occupational Therapy Practice Act Minimum of two years clinical experience in pediatric therapy, focusing on developmental disabilities Proven background in delivering therapy within educational settings Strong ability to work effectively within interdisciplinary teams and engage with families to support student progress Flexibility and adaptability for dynamic school environments Your contributions will include: Delivering individualized and group occupational therapy services to students as part of their IEPs and 504 Plans Collaborating closely with educators, support staff, and families to assess student needs and develop appropriate interventions Utilizing evidence-based practices to help students build the skills needed for educational and daily living success Maintaining thorough and accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory and district standards Actively participating in assessments, parent-teacher meetings, and team conferences This assignment will start as soon as possible and is scheduled to continue through June 11th. School site and final hours are yet to be determined, allowing for a degree of flexibility as you acclimate to the new setting.
