Key Qualifications:
Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy Current, active OT license in California Previous experience in schools or pediatrics highly preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to adapt to diverse student needs and work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities:
Assess and evaluate students' functional abilities within the school environment Develop and implement tailored intervention plans to enhance students' performance and independence Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to ensure cohesive support Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with school policies Participate in Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meetings as needed Provide training and resources to school staff regarding student accommodations and assistive strategies
