Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference in students' lives by providing specialized occupational therapy services throughout the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time contract opportunity lets you work within educational settings, collaborating closely with teachers and support staff to promote student growth and foster learning readiness. You'll play a key role in helping children succeed academically and socially, empowering them to overcome barriers and maximize their potential.
Qualifications and Experience:
Must hold a current OT license to practice in the state Experience in school-based occupational therapy preferred Strong understanding of IEP processes and special education compliance Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to adapt therapy plans for diverse student needs and learning environments Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage a diverse caseload
Duties and Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and develop individualized therapy plans for students Deliver occupational therapy services in both individual and group settings Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student achievement Track and document progress, making data-informed adjustments to interventions Participate in IEP meetings and staff training sessions Educate school staff and families on OT strategies and adaptive techniques Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment for all students This contract covers the full academic year, offering you stability while you engage in meaningful work.
