Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role supporting students as a part-time Occupational Therapist for the upcoming academic year. You'll make a real difference working with K-12th grade learners, providing essential therapy services and collaborating within school settings. This contract position is set to begin at the start of the school year on August 6, 2026, and wrap up on May 27, 2027, offering a fantastic opportunity to impact students' abilities and growth. Your background in school-based occupational therapy will help you assess student needs and develop intervention plans that foster skills for academic and functional success. You'll work alongside teachers, support staff, and families to ensure students have the tools they need to thrive in the classroom and beyond. What we're looking for: Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school environments Familiarity with K-12th grade populations, including diverse needs and educational settings Strong communication and collaboration skills to partner with multidisciplinary teams Ability to assess, plan, and implement individualized therapy programs Proficiency in maintaining accurate and timely documentation of services provided Current knowledge of state and federal guidelines over special education services Role responsibilities include: Conducting comprehensive evaluations and writing actionable recommendations for students Designing and implementing evidence-based therapy plans aligned with students' educational goals Integrating therapeutic strategies within classroom routines and activities Consulting regularly with educators and family members about student progress Participating in IEP meetings and contributing valuable expertise to support student outcomes If you're passionate about making a positive impact in students' daily lives and enjoy working collaboratively in educational settings, this is the ideal opportunity for you.
