www.uplifttherapycenter.com Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric Occupational Therapist who is comfortable providing therapy services in both home and clinic settings. This role involves delivering individualized, high-quality care to pediatric clients while collaborating closely with families and interdisciplinary team members. Key Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Provide high-quality occupational therapy interventions using appropriate, evidence-based techniques Conduct comprehensive evaluations across all areas of occupation using appropriate clinical tools Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with families and care teams Establish measurable, patient-centered goals and track progress through data collection Maintain detailed, accurate, and timely documentation, including: Evaluations and re-evaluations Progress reports Discharge summaries Daily treatment notes Deliver ongoing therapy services, including caregiver education and home programs Communicate effectively with children, families, colleagues, and community stakeholders Maintain productivity and documentation standards Support program development and participate in internal learning opportunities Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations and certification requirements Adhere to safety, ethical, privacy, and confidentiality standards Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program Current California license from the California Board of Occupational Therapy (CBOT) Certification through the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) Minimum of 1 year of pediatric experience preferred Comfortable working in home, school, clinic, and community-based settings Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to effectively educate patients and caregivers Bilingual skills preferred Professional, patient, and compassionate demeanor Successful completion of background check and all required clearances Additional Information This position requires flexibility, collaboration, and a commitment to delivering high-quality pediatric care. Duties and responsibilities may be modified as needed.
