Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Make a difference in children's lives by supporting student growth through occupational therapy services in a school-based setting. This full-time contract opportunity—beginning August 2026 and ending June 2027—offers three onsite positions serving a diverse K-12 caseload. Enjoy the rewarding challenge of working with students at various academic and developmental levels while collaborating closely with educators and families.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Active Occupational Therapy license (or eligibility) in the state prior to the assignment's start Previous school-based OT experience strongly preferred Experience working with K-12 student populations and a variety of disabilities Strong written and verbal communication skills Flexibility, cultural competence, and adaptability in dynamic school environments New and experienced travelers are welcome
Responsibilities:
Provide direct occupational therapy services to students individually and in small groups according to IEPs Complete assessments, develop treatment plans, and document student progress Consult and collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to promote positive student outcomes Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to development of student goals Maintain all required documentation and reports in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines Support and adapt activities to enhance student participation and success throughout the school environment
