1 Description American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for an Acute Inpatient Hospital and Acute Rehab setting requiring EPIC experience and strong clinical skills in Neuro/ICU populations. Details Acute Inpatient Hospital and Inpatient Acute Rehabilitation setting Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts Float between inpatient and acute rehab units daily Weekend availability required, including potential for all weekend shifts EPIC experience required Requirements Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) required Current OT license in state of practice required (license required if applicable) BLS certification required 2+ years of experience in hospital/acute rehab settings preferred Strong clinical skills in Neuro/ICU inpatient acute rehab experience required Candidates must be able to work independently without mentorship support Additional Information Complete evaluations and establish individualized treatment plans for patients Provide therapy interventions using appropriate treatment protocols and techniques Establish individualized care and discharge plans and communicate with appropriate parties Complete comprehensive and accurate clinical documentation within established deadlines Supervise assigned assistants Serve as co-leader in interdisciplinary approach to patient groups Required vaccinations are a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions where applicable Accepts local candidates at the same rate as travel candidates Candidates with more than 5 days of requested time off will not be considered Candidates with a prior adverse action on their license will not be considered
