Growth opportunities Relaxed atmosphere Flexible working hours Safe work environment Full Healthcare benefits and coverage (Vision, Dental, Health, Life Insurance) Description DUTIES Conduct patient assessments to determine mobility deficits using developmental assessments such as Developmental Assessment of Young Children Second Edition (DAYC-2) and Bayley Scales of Infant Development 4th Edition (BAYLEY-4) Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients Provide direct occupational therapy services to patients (in-home) with various Travel to patient home to conduct sessions Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care Monitor and document patient progress using EMR system and adjust treatment plans as needed via evaluation Educate patients and their families on speech therapy techniques and strategies
QUALIFICATIONS
a Bachelor's degree , completion of an ACOTE-accredited Master's or Doctoral program , and passing the national NBCOT certification exam . Valid California state license or certification in Occupational Therapy 1 year minimum experience working with pediatrics is preferred Knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to occupational therapy function Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation practices Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare professionals Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Position is open to full time/part time candidates SKILLS Patient care Occupational Therapy Anatomy knowledge Home health Patient assessment Pediatrics Medical terminology
