Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a dedicated Occupational Therapist, making meaningful contributions throughout the 2026-2027 school year. In this full-time position, you'll play a key role in supporting K-12 students in their academic settings, fostering independence, and building essential life skills. Qualifications & Experience:
Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) licensure in the state of California Previous experience or strong interest in school-based OT services Familiarity with the developmental needs of K-12 students Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
Assess and identify students' occupational therapy needs through standardized tests and observations Develop and implement individualized intervention plans in line with IEP goals Provide direct therapy services and collaborate with teachers to integrate strategies within the classroom Maintain accurate documentation of services, progress, and evaluations Offer guidance and resources to families and school staff to support student achievement Adapt interventions to suit diverse student backgrounds and learning abilities
