Vestibular Compensation:
$75 / hour About the Role STAC Physical Therapy is seeking a Occupational Therapist to join our Center for Brain Injury (CBI) . This program is a collaborative effort with a respected medical group we have partnered with for over 15 years. You will lead a structured, 6-week rehabilitation program specifically designed for patients recovering from mild TBI, concussions, and vestibular injuries. This role is perfect for a OT who enjoys the energy of group dynamics and wants to work within a sophisticated, interdisciplinary framework that prioritizes functional outcomes over administrative paperwork.
What Sets This Position Apart Team Approach:
You are part of a small but dedicated rehab team working in tandem with physicians, psychologists and additional therapists.
Streamlined Documentation:
We use a specialized phone-dictation protocol . This allows you to focus on your patients rather than insurance billing and manual data entry. You will never deal with billing or administration.
Clinical Depth:
We provide full training on our established 6-week functional restoration curriculum, ensuring you are equipped to lead with confidence.
Primary Responsibilities Lead Group Classes:
Facilitate 2-hour rehabilitation sessions for groups of up to 8 patients. Focusing on vestibular retraining and concussion management within a 6-week curriculum.
Evaluations:
Conduct 30-minute initial evaluations one morning per week to assess patient readiness and baseline function.
Collaborative Care:
Coordinate daily with the OT, PTA, and broader multidisciplinary team to ensure cohesive patient progress.
Qualifications Licensure:
Valid California Physical Therapist (PT) license.
Clinical Expertise:
Background or strong interest in neuro-rehabilitation, vestibular therapy, or concussion management.
Advanced Soft Skills:
Exceptional communication and empathy are required. You must be able to navigate complex patient/client relationships and manage the sensitivities associated with chronic, life-altering conditions.
Adaptability:
The ability to lead a group while remaining attentive to the individual emotional and physical needs of patients with multifactorial symptom presentation.
Schedule & Benefits Hours:
Up to hours per week. Monday•Thursday 1:00 PM•5:00 PM in person, 1-3 hours of virtual meetings
