Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students across K-8th grades throughout the full school year. Collaborate within a dedicated educational environment to deliver high-quality occupational therapy services to a caseload of approximately 55 students. Based near Los Molinos, CA, this full-time role is primarily onsite, with consideration for hybrid schedules for added flexibility. Ideal candidates will be experienced in occupational therapy across a range of settings, including schools, healthcare, home health, and teletherapy. Your expertise will make a meaningful difference in the lives of students with diverse needs, empowering them to reach their fullest potential in both academic and daily life settings.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Master's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Valid state licensure and registration as an Occupational Therapist Demonstrated experience in school-based therapy, with familiarity in healthcare, home health, and teletherapy settings Effective communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans Comfortable providing therapy individually and in small groups
Responsibilities:
Assess the functional needs of K-8th grade students to determine necessary interventions Create and manage customized occupational therapy programs tailored to each student's goals Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and parents Document progress and maintain compliance with school and legal requirements Offer both direct and consultative services based on student IEPs Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute expertise to support whole-child development
