Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as an Onsite Occupational Therapist, providing vital therapy services for a full school year. Located near the scenic coastline of Marina and Monterey, this full-time role offers the chance to make a meaningful difference in students' lives within a supportive school environment.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in California Background in school-based occupational therapy (preferred) Ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families Skilled at developing and implementing individualized treatment plans Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills Previous experience working with children or adolescents is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and create individualized intervention plans for students Provide direct therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student success Monitor and document students' progress through regular reporting Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to student support teams Offer recommendations for classroom and school-based modifications Adapt and adjust interventions based on ongoing assessments and feedback
