Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Embark on a meaningful contract opportunity supporting students in a vibrant school setting near Mariposa, CA. This full-time, in-person role is tailored for a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) ready to make a difference throughout the entire school year. You'll collaborate with a talented special education team, working hands-on to inspire student growth and success.
Key Qualifications:
Valid California licensure as an OT or COTA Previous school-based OT experience preferred Strong understanding of IEP processes Excellent communication and documentation skills Ability to work effectively with students, families, and educators Commitment to fostering student independence and participation
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students, ensuring interventions align with individual education plans (IEPs) Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to identify student needs Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families regarding student progress and strategies for success Participate in IEP meetings and contribute valuable insights as part of a multidisciplinary team Document services, progress, and interventions consistently and accurately
