Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a highly rewarding opportunity providing expert occupational therapy services to K-12 students in a supportive school environment. This full-time, onsite contract spans the academic year, with multiple openings available. Your work will help students develop skills for success and independence, making a lasting impact across various grade levels.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Occupational Therapy license in California, or eligibility to obtain one prior to start Previous experience in a school-based OT role preferred, but new graduates with strong clinical backgrounds are welcome Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, teachers, and families Comfort adapting to the needs of diverse K-12 caseloads Ability to document student progress and assessments accurately and promptly
Responsibilities:
Deliver direct and indirect OT services to assigned students individually and in small groups Conduct assessments and generate individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the educational team Maintain timely and thorough records, reports, and IEP documentation for each student Consult with teachers, school staff, and families to integrate therapy goals into the classroom and home environments Attend IEP meetings and participate in school team functions as needed Support students in developing fine motor, visual-motor, sensory, and adaptive skills for school participation
