Job Description

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving K-12 students as an Occupational Therapist for the 2026/2027 school year. This full-time, onsite position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact while collaborating with a supportive school community. With three positions available, you'll work closely with students, teachers, and families, helping young learners build confidence and independence in their everyday school routines.
Role Details:
Contract position for the new school year (August 2026 - June 2027) Located onsite, supporting a diverse caseload of K-12 students 37.5 hours per week, ensuring a robust schedule while leaving room for work-life balance Open to both local professionals and those seeking a travel assignment
Desired Skills and Experience:
Valid, active Occupational Therapist license issued by the state of California Previous experience in school-based OT settings (preferred, but not required) Comfortable working with students from kindergarten through 12th grade Strong communication and collaboration skills to engage with educators and families Flexibility, creativity, and compassion when addressing students' unique needs
Key Responsibilities:
Assess and develop individualized educational plans for students with a variety of needs Implement evidence-based interventions to support participation and performance in school activities Maintain thorough records and comply with all state and federal guidelines Provide consultation and training for school staff and parents as needed Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment for every child This is your chance to inspire growth and independence in students while advancing your OT career in an encouraging school setting for the full academic year.
