Job Description

Step into a meaningful contract role supporting students' growth and development as a skilled occupational therapy professional. This assignment, based in the vicinity of Menifee, CA, offers the chance to collaborate closely with a diverse student population while focusing on impactful, hands-on intervention.
Position Details:
Schedule:
Three days per week, totaling approximately 22.5 to 24 hours weekly
Caseload:
Manage 34 students, with additional evaluations pending
Grades Served:
Wide spectrum from kindergarten through 11th/12th grades—most students are in elementary and middle school
Primary Focus:
Support students with Autism, Specific Learning Disability (SLD), and Other Health Impairment (OHI)
Setting:
100% in-person on campus engagement; remote or hybrid options are not available
Desired Skills and Experience:
Valid and active licensure/certification as an Occupational Therapist Previous experience working in school-based OT settings preferred Strong organizational skills to maintain IEP compliance and thorough documentation Ability to deliver effective direct, hands-on therapy tailored to students' unique needs Collaborative mindset for working closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Core Responsibilities:
Conduct student assessments and evaluations as required Develop, update, and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for assigned students Deliver direct OT services, focusing on functional and educationally relevant goals Track progress diligently and maintain compliance with all district and legal requirements Engage in active, on-site collaboration to support diverse student needs Take your expertise where it's needed most, and make a tangible difference one student at a time.
