Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Bring your expertise in school-based occupational therapy to a dynamic educational setting near Merced, CA! This contract opportunity is ideal for professionals passionate about making a meaningful impact on students' development and daily living skills within the academic environment. In this role, you'll collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver tailored interventions and strategies that support students' unique needs. Your work will help foster students' independence while enriching their school experience.
Qualifications:
Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy Active, valid OT license in the state of California Previous experience in schools or pediatric settings preferred Strong communication and documentation skills Adaptability and positive approach to working with diverse student populations
Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans Provide direct therapy sessions and monitor student progress Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to integrate OT strategies into classroom routines Maintain accurate records and complete required documentation promptly Participate in team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) planning Offer consultations and training to school personnel as needed
