Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role supporting students' growth as a part-time Occupational Therapist in a K-12 educational setting near Moreno Valley, CA. This contract opportunity spans the academic year, beginning August 6, 2026 and concluding on May 27, 2027. You'll work collaboratively with students, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams to empower learners at every grade level. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Master's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Current and valid Occupational Therapist licensure for California Experience providing OT services within a school environment preferred Proficiency in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans Strong communication skills for collaboration with educators and family members Understanding of IEP processes and documentation requirements
Responsibilities:
Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students in grades K-12 Assess students' needs and participate in developing individualized education plans (IEPs) Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to promote students' access to curriculum and school participation Document progress, maintain compliance, and report on outcomes according to school and legal standards Adapt therapeutic interventions to support students with diverse physical, sensory, and developmental needs Support classroom modifications and recommend adaptive equipment as appropriate This role offers the fulfillment of fostering independence and academic success for children and teens.
