This is a Part-time position (20 hours per week) On-site during our hours of operation Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM Responsibilities of the
Occupational Therapist :
Assessment and Person-Centered Care Planning for incoming and active participants. Member of the Multidisciplinary Team and assist with carrying out the Team's plan of care. Provide Activities of Daily Living care to participants, as needed, and training of staff (grooming, dressing, hygiene, body mechanics). Conduct in-home evaluations, as appropriate, for home safety considerations and recommendations. Demonstrates safe practices by utilizing proper body mechanics, adhering to universal precautions, and maintaining environmental safety. Contribute to the welcoming environment, assisting participants as needed. Supervise participants throughout the Center to ensure their safety, proper care, and comfort. Attend staff meetings, trainings, and in-services. Ability to safely move upwards of 35 pounds. Attend all staff meetings, trainings, and in-services. Perform other related duties as assigned.
