Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact supporting students as an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) throughout the full school year. This in-person opportunity offers an engaging, collaborative environment where you'll partner with educators and families to help students achieve their best in both academic and daily life skills. Located near the beautiful Oakhurst, CA area, you'll enjoy the tight-knit community atmosphere as you play an essential role in helping children thrive.
Desired Qualifications:
Active state licensure as an Occupational Therapist or COTA (required) Previous experience in school-based settings is highly desirable Strong communication and organizational skills Commitment to evidence-based practices and individualized support Ability to manage time effectively across caseloads and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Passion for working with children and adapting therapy to diverse learning needs
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs Develop and implement individualized treatment plans; track student progress and adjust interventions as needed Conduct evaluations and document findings for new and existing students Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support each child's goals and success in the classroom Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to student support teams Provide training and resources to school staff on strategies that promote student participation and independence This is a full-time, contract position for the entire school year.
