BLS Certification Occupational Therapy License Full Job Description Role Overview:
This position involves planning and conducting treatment programs to restore and enhance patients' physical, social, and mental functions. The Occupational Therapist (OT) collaborates as a co-leader within an interdisciplinary team, providing individualized care and discharge plans, and ensuring proper documentation.
Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive evaluations and develop personalized treatment plans. Deliver therapy interventions using appropriate protocols and techniques. Supervise assigned therapy assistants. Communicate treatment plans effectively to relevant parties. Complete accurate clinical documentation within required deadlines. Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills:
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD). Licensure in Occupational Therapy for the state of practice. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Preferred:
Two years of occupational therapy experience.
Additional Requirements:
Adherence to safety protocols, vaccination policies, and participation in E-Verify are mandatory. The role emphasizes quality patient care, teamwork, and accurate clinical documentation.
