Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) Previous experience in a school environment is preferred Familiarity with IEP development and implementation Strong organizational and communication abilities Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other support staff Adaptability and a positive, student-centered attitude
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments to identify students' needs and develop appropriate intervention plans Collaborate with educational teams to create and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs) Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students, in both individual and group settings Document evaluations, progress notes, and treatment plans accurately and in compliance with school and state policies Communicate effectively with families, educators, and administrators to support students' success Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute expertise to support optimal learning experiences In this role, you'll help students develop their skills for classroom participation and daily living, making a real difference in their educational outcomes.
