Job Description

A rewarding opportunity awaits skilled Occupational Therapists and certified occupational therapy assistants with school-based experience. Working full-time across the full school year, you'll play a vital role supporting students with mild to severe needs through individualized intervention and collaborative educational strategies. This contract position is based in a dynamic environment, offering the flexibility of an itinerant role. Responsibilities include delivering direct in-person OT services to students, collaborating with education staff to address learning barriers, performing assessments, and documenting progress to ensure compliance and effective outcomes. Occupational Therapists will also provide virtual supervision for COTAs as needed, allowing assistants to focus on hands-on support in the school setting.
Desired qualifications:
Valid OT or COTA license in California Proven experience in a school-based setting (required for COTAs) Strong understanding of IEP processes and documentation Ability to manage caseloads with travel across sites Comfortable working with diverse needs, from mild to severe Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills Commitment to providing services strictly in-person (no virtual direct services)
