Job Description

Full Job Description Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A rewarding opportunity awaits an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist seeking to make a meaningful impact in educational settings. This full-time, contract position offers 35 hours per week aligned with the school calendar, providing both immediate onboarding and the possibility of extending into the next academic year. With a balanced 8:00am to 4:00pm schedule, your work will span multiple sites, supporting students from kindergarten through 12th grade and addressing a diverse range of needs and ages.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Current Occupational Therapist license in the state or eligibility to obtain Previous experience in school-based OT settings preferred, but motivated new grads are encouraged to apply Ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with educators, families, and other service providers Reliable transportation and flexibility to travel between multiple school locations throughout the week Understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and the process of goal-setting, documentation, and progress tracking
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and create individualized treatment plans for students with varying needs Deliver direct and consultative OT services according to IEP goals Work closely with teachers, administrators, and caregivers to support student independence and success in the educational environment Maintain accurate documentation for student records, progress reports, and communication with the team Provide training and resources to school staff and families regarding equipment, strategies, and interventions
