Job Description

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting high school and post-secondary students with their growth and development for the upcoming 26/27 school year! This role, based near vibrant Redwood City, CA, offers a collaborative environment with a dedicated Occupational Therapy (OT) partner, providing services to a shared caseload. Working 35 hours per week, you'll help students reach their greatest potential as they prepare for new challenges and transitions.
Qualifications and Experience:
Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) in California Experience in school settings, especially with high school or post-secondary populations Knowledge of IEP process, therapy documentation, and progress reporting Ability to collaborate effectively with students, staff, families, and another OT Strong communication and organizational skills
Role Responsibilities:
Deliver direct and consultative OT services tailored to student needs, promoting independence and participation in academic settings Complete thorough assessments and contribute to IEP meetings and documentation Develop and implement individualized intervention plans within a team-based approach Maintain accurate and timely recordkeeping of all therapy activities and communications Collaborate regularly with the co-occupational therapist to ensure cohesive service delivery for the caseload This is a chance to impact the lives of young adults as they move toward independence, all while working within a supportive educational community and alongside a fellow OT.
