  • Well equipped therapy gyms Responsibilities Assist occupational therapists in implementing treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
Provide direct patient care, including therapeutic exercises, activities of daily living (ADLs), and mobility training. Monitor and document patient progress, ensuring accurate records are maintained in accordance with medical standards. Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, exercises, and safety measures. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes, including participation in interdisciplinary team meetings. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients during therapy sessions. Stay updated on best practices in occupational therapy, medical terminology, and relevant regulations. Requirements Active California license (COTA) Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written A dedication to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices A devout love for working with geriatric and post-acute populations
