Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Empower students to reach their fullest potential by utilizing your Occupational Therapy expertise in a rewarding school-based contract role near vibrant San Bernardino, CA. This position offers the chance to collaborate with dedicated educators and caring families to create supportive learning environments, making a meaningful impact on students' lives every day.
Qualifications & Experience:
Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in California Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting strongly preferred Familiarity with IEP development and progress monitoring Strong communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to adapt to diverse student needs and work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' occupational therapy needs within the educational environment Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals Provide direct and consultative OT services that foster student participation and academic success Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other related service providers to support student achievement Maintain thorough documentation and participate in IEP meetings as required Offer recommendations for classroom modifications, accommodations, and assistive devices as appropriate
