Job Description

Position Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Occupation Therapist to join our team, providing essential services to our students. If you are experienced in working with children with Autism, developmental disabilities, and fine motor deficits, we would love to hear from you. Great part-time opportunity for a student, parent, or retired OTR/L!

Work with our like-minded and passionate Interdisciplinary Team. Work in a program that embraces teaching students to develop and apply fine motor skills and functional living skills. Be an integral part of the progressive and transformational change made to improve the lives of autistic students, leading students back to lesser restrictive environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver occupational therapy services (Direct/Consultation/Assessments) for K-12 students. Conduct comprehensive assessments and consultations to inform individualized education plans (IEPs). Actively participate in IEP meetings on behalf of students. Collaborate effectively with Precious Hearts Academy's Interdisciplinary service team, school district personnel, and parents. Provide services according to IEP mandates (1 to 2 sessions per week per student). Provide parent education

Preferred Qualifications:

1 year + experience treating individuals ages 5-22 with Autism and developmental disabilities and non-vocal communication development.

Required Qualifications:

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy. If not certified, supervision is provided for Clinical Fellows California professional licensure. TB clearance (within last 4 years).

FBI/DOJ Clearance Prefer OTR/L with:

2 years minimum experience treating children with autism and developmental disabilities. With passion for special needs

Job Details:

Part-time position (2 days/week 9:00AM - 2:00PM) Regular School Year & Extended School Year Variable IEP-mandated service levels (1-2 sessions per week per student).
