Pay Range:
$45-$55/hour (based on experience) About the Role We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) for a full-time, school-based position in San Jose, CA. This role supports students in Transitional Kindergarten (TK) through 8th grade, helping them build the fine motor, sensory, and functional skills needed for success in the classroom and daily life. Key Responsibilities Provide occupational therapy services to students across TK-8th grade Manage a caseload of approximately 55 students Conduct evaluations and assessments and develop IEP goals Create and implement individualized treatment plans Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with school guidelines Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams Travel between 2-3 school sites within the district Participate in IEP meetings and monitor student progress Qualifications Active California OT License required School-based or pediatric experience strongly preferred Strong communication, organization, and report-writing skills Application Requirements To apply, candidates must submit: Two professional letters of recommendation One sample evaluation/report (with all student identifiers removed) These will be gathered if you are selected for an interview.
