School Occupational Therapist | San Marcos, California Soliant - 3.9 San Marcos, CA Job Details Contract $43.86 - $63.86 an hour Qualifications Master's degree Occupational Therapy License Full Job Description Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A school district in San Marcos, CA is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to provide essential support under a contract position. This role begins January 12 and continues through the end of the school year in June, covering a leave of absence. The therapist will work 7.5 hours a day, serving two school sites to support students' developmental and functional needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy services to students in compliance with individualized education plans (IEPs). Assess students' needs and develop intervention plans to improve their functional performance and participation. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure integrated support and progress monitoring. Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with school and regulatory requirements. Provide guidance and training to support staff as needed.Qualifications:
Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in a school setting. Knowledge of IDEA and related special education laws and regulations. Ability to manage caseloads effectively across multiple sites. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Commitment to student-centered care and inclusion.Location and Schedule:
Position is based in San Marcos, CA. Coverage of two school sites during the contract period. 7.5 hours per day, weekdays.
