Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact this Extended School Year by supporting students as an Occupational Therapist in a school-based contract position. This opportunity near San Rafael, CA, runs from June 22 to July 17, with a consistent schedule of four hours per day, Monday through Friday. You'll collaborate with educators, families, and support teams to deliver skilled therapy services that promote student independence and participation.
Qualifications and Experience:
Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist Prior experience in school-based or pediatric occupational therapy settings Strong communication and documentation skills Ability to adapt to varying student needs and learning environments Experience with IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring Positive, team-focused approach to interdisciplinary collaboration
Role Responsibilities:
Provide direct OT services to students in alignment with IEP goals Assess student needs and develop therapy plans tailored to individual strengths and challenges Conduct evaluations and complete required documentation within timelines Participate in IEP team meetings and contribute to the creation of student-centered plans Consult with teachers, families, and staff, offering strategies and resources for classroom inclusion Maintain accurate records of delivered services and progress toward goals Foster a supportive, encouraging environment for all students Step into a rewarding summer role where your expertise uplifts students and supports their growth.
