Job Description

Support the growth and development of students by utilizing your expertise in occupational therapy in an engaging educational setting. This contract opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful difference for children from Pre-K through middle school. Work with diverse student populations, providing valuable interventions that help young learners gain confidence and independence.
Qualifications and Experience:
Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in pediatrics Proficient in fine and gross motor skill development Demonstrated ability to design and implement therapy programs for children in Pre-K, elementary (K-5), and middle school settings Understanding of early childhood development and individualized education plans (IEPs) Strong collaboration skills for working with teachers, parents, and other professionals Ability to assess, document, and track student progress Compassionate, organized, and adaptable to a dynamic school environment
Role Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive student assessments to identify needs in areas such as motor skills, sensory processing, and functional independence Develop and deliver direct and consultative OT services to support student success Collaborate with educators and families, offering strategies to help integrate therapy recommendations into daily routines Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise for goal-setting and accommodations Track and report progress, adjusting interventions to best meet evolving student needs Provide engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote growth and school participation Working in this rewarding contract role allows you to witness daily the progress your students achieve, shaping their confidence and skill development.
