Occupational Therapist School Setting in Saratoga, CA Sunbelt Staffing - 3.8 Saratoga, CA Job Details Contract $38 - $70 an hour 9 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Vision insurance Qualifications Master's degree Occupational Therapy License Full Job Description Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Exciting opportunity for an Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide impactful school-based services during an Extended School Year (ESY) program near Saratoga, CA. This contract position offers the chance to work with TK-8th grade students, supporting their growth and development in a supportive educational environment. You'll work on a single campus, providing both individual and group therapy sessions for a caseload of approximately 19 students. The assignment runs from June 15 through July 10, Mondays through Fridays, with daily hours from 8:15 AM to 12:30 PM—creating a great work-life balance for your summer months.
Key Qualifications:
Active California OT license required Experience in school-based settings, home health, or teletherapy preferred Comfortable managing both group and individual sessions Skilled in developing and implementing IEP-based therapy plans Strong communicator—able to collaborate with teachers, students, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy services focused on student IEP goals Conduct assessments and maintain accurate documentation of progress Work with multi-disciplinary teams to support student success Facilitate group sessions when appropriate Provide recommendations for classroom strategies and modifications Enjoy a supportive contract experience enhanced by weekly pay, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision options, and the benefit of 401(k) plans.
