Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a school-based Occupational Therapist contract role and make a meaningful impact for students during the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time opportunity offers the chance to collaborate with school teams in a supportive environment near scenic Sonoma, California. If you're ready to guide students to greater independence and achievement, your expertise is needed.
Qualifications & Experience:
Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license in California (or eligibility for licensure) Previous experience working in pediatric or school-based OT settings preferred Solid understanding of
IDEA, IEP
processes, and evidence-based OT interventions in educational environments Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills Ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate students to determine individual OT needs using standardized and functional assessments Develop and implement personalized intervention plans to support educational progress Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to facilitate student participation and success in the classroom Contribute to IEP meetings, progress reports, and compliance-related documentation Provide training and resources to staff and families on strategies that improve functional skills Maintain accurate, timely records in accordance with school and state requirements
