Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in the Fairfield and Vacaville areas by providing in-person occupational therapy services during the 2026-2027 school year. This contract position is ideal for a dedicated and skilled OT professional who's ready to support students' development and success in an educational environment.
Qualifications:
Active Occupational Therapist license in California Experience providing OT services in school settings strongly preferred Solid understanding of individualized education programs (IEPs) Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills Ability to travel to sites within the Fairfield and Vacaville area Knowledge of best practices in pediatric and adolescent OT interventions Flexibility and adaptability to work with diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver in-person OT assessments and therapy to students in multiple school sites Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals Collaborate with teachers, families, and other related service providers Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress Develop and implement appropriate intervention strategies to support student participation and achievement Provide consultation and education to staff and families regarding OT best practices Adapt therapy plans as needed to meet evolving student needs This is a valuable opportunity for an enthusiastic OT seeking hands-on school experience in northern California.
