Cedar Crest is a 90-bed skilled nursing facility focusing primarily on post-hospitalization transitional care. Our greatest success is the ability to help patients recover and discharge back to home or to a lower level of care! We employ over 20 therapists and operate a 2,500-square-foot, fully contained therapy unit. Together with our nursing staff, our goal is to help patients achieve their highest level of functional independence. Our rehabilitation program is comprehensive and includes physical, occupational, and speech therapy. We have helped many patients achieve outstanding results, and our staff has experience caring for people recovering from numerous conditions, including cardiac, orthopedic, neurological, and other illnesses. We provide inpatient therapy services seven days a week. Our skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility has an outstanding reputation in the healthcare industry with a high rating for quality patient care. Job Description:
The primary role of the Occupational Therapist is to direct all aspects of quality patient care, including evaluation, treatment, treatment planning, goal setting, family education and documentation according to organization's guidelines, professional standards and community needs. This position will also serve as a patient and rehabilitation advocate for current prospective patients, to all internal and external customers while participating in quality assurance and customer service activities.

Qualifications:
Graduate of an approved curriculum in Occupational Therapy, is able to practice unencumbered, is in good standing with all regulatory agencies and licensing boards, has working knowledge of Medicare and other payer sources, full knowledge of residents' rights, exude professionalism in presentation, able to work on multitasks at the same time. In addition, qualified candidates must have proven success in providing extraordinary care, working as a proactive and contributing part of a dynamic team.
