Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-12th grade students as a part-time Occupational Therapist in a vibrant school setting near Temecula, CA. This position begins August 6, 2026, and extends through May 27, 2027, giving you the chance to contribute your expertise throughout the academic year. Here's what sets this role apart:
Desired Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Valid OT license in California Previous experience in school-based settings preferred Strong collaboration skills with teachers, support staff, and families Confidence working with students from diverse backgrounds and with varying needs, from kindergarten through high school Excellent communication and documentation abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic educational environment
Role Responsibilities:
Evaluate and assess students' functional abilities related to school participation, designing individualized intervention plans Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services aligned with IEP goals Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote student access to curriculum and activities Develop strategies and supports to enhance students' fine motor, sensory, and self-care skills Maintain thorough records of interventions, progress, and compliance with state and federal regulations Offer training and resources to educational staff and families as needed You'll enjoy a part-time schedule that allows for professional impact and work-life balance, making a difference in students' lives each day of the school year.
