1 Description American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for a 12-week acute care contract in Temecula, CA, with experience in acute care settings preferred. Details Occupational Therapy unit in an acute care hospital setting in Temecula, CA Day shift, 8-hour shifts from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM 12-week contract Requirements CA OT license required if applicable Current BLS certification (AHA) required Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university Minimum 1 year of experience as an OT in an acute care facility preferred Skills checklist completed within the last 12 months required for consideration Two supervisory/managerial references from within the last 2 years required for consideration Additional Information Responsible for evaluating, planning, directing, and administering occupational therapy modalities as prescribed by a licensed physician Develops and implements individualized patient treatment programs for patients with varying degrees and types of disabilities and multiple medical problems Designs customized home programs and provides instruction to patients and families on their implementation Reports to the Manager of Rehabilitation
