This contract position offers 40 hours per week in a supportive educational setting located near Thousand Oaks, CA. As the school Occupational Therapist, you'll be instrumental in providing direct and consultative services, helping children access their education and reach their full potential.

Key Qualifications:

Current, active Occupational Therapist licensure in California (CA OT License) Experience working in school-based, home health, or other pediatric healthcare settings is highly valued In-depth knowledge of interventions, assessments, and documentation for school-aged populations Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with teachers, staff, and families

Primary Responsibilities:

Assess students' functional abilities and develop individualized intervention plans Deliver occupational therapy services as outlined in students' IEPs Maintain detailed, timely records and progress reports Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive student support Participate in team meetings, IEP discussions, and professional development as required Engage with families and staff to foster students' independence and participation in learning
