Job Description

Occupational Therapist (OT)— Early Intervention, In-Home W-2 Position | California | $80-$85/hour — including drive time and admin time About the role We're hiring a licensed OT to provide in-home early intervention services to children ages 0-3 and their families. Early intervention supports infants and toddlers who have — or are at risk for — a developmental delay, disability, or health condition that may affect how they develop. Sessions are delivered in the child's natural environment. Parent coaching is an integral part of this role, therefore you'll be working with the family and the child. Location Wilmington, Harbor City, Lomita, Long Beach, Carson, San Pedro. Clinician's are able to select the locations they are able to provide services but we are looking for OTs in the cities listed above. Hours OTs are able to choose what days and times they would like to see clients.
Rate:
$80-$85/hour for direct client contact time. Drive time between families is paid. Meetings with our clinical director are paid at the full direct rate. Role responsibilities Provide early intervention services to children ages 0-3 within the scope of practice of an OT in the natural environment (i.e. home, daycare, etc.) Design and create individualized treatment plan goals Provide parent coaching as a core part of each session Deliver culturally responsive services to the families on your caseload Document clinical notes after each session Write progress reports and conduct re-evaluations as directed by the clinical director Meet monthly with the clinical director to discuss your caseload

Our office administrator handles cancellations, reschedules, and handles other administrative tasks.. Materials and a company email are provided. What we're looking for Active California OT license At least a year with children with developmental disabilities Comfortable in family homes and genuinely interested in coaching parents Reliable Transportation Benefits W-2 (not 1099)
  • Health insurance at 20+ hrs/week with up to $200/month from us
  • Paid drive and admin time
  • $100 annual CEU stipend
