Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students across K-12 grades in an on-site, school-based setting near Torrance, CA. We're seeking motivated Occupational Therapists who are committed to making a positive impact in educational environments. Your expertise will help students reach their full potential as you collaborate with educators, families, and multi-disciplinary teams. Assignments may be itinerant and will include varying caseloads throughout the academic year.
Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Active Occupational Therapist license issued by the state of California Previous exposure to school-based OT services or fieldwork in educational settings Familiarity with standardized assessments, educational terminology, and the Special Education process Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision Comfort working with diverse K-12 student populations Ability to travel between school sites as assigned
Key Responsibilities:
Provide occupational therapy services to students from kindergarten through high school, supporting their participation in school routines Develop and implement individualized intervention plans and document progress Evaluate and use standardized assessments in alignment with district protocols Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to support student success Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the multidisciplinary special education process Adapt services to each school's needs as assignments vary This contract is full-time, running from August 11, 2026, through June 4, 2027. VOCO assignments are strictly on-site, offering the chance to engage directly with students and teams.
