    $60
  • 65/hour BOE Linwood Meadows Care Center is seeking a compassionate and motivated Per Diem Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our outstanding rehab team.

  • 65/hour BOE Flexible Per Diem schedule Positive and collaborative team environment Ongoing training and professional development Employee appreciation and recognition programs Opportunity to make a meaningful difference every day General Purpose The Occupational Therapist evaluates residents, develops individualized treatment plans, and provides therapeutic interventions to improve independence with daily living skills, mobility, safety, and overall functional performance.
Essential Duties Evaluate residents and determine occupational therapy needs and rehabilitation potential Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans Provide therapeutic interventions focused on ADLs, strength, coordination, balance, cognition, and safety Communicate with physicians, nursing staff, residents, and families regarding progress and goals Participate in care plan meetings and interdisciplinary team conferences Complete timely, accurate, and compliant documentation Educate residents and caregivers on home programs, adaptive strategies, and fall prevention Recommend adaptive equipment and assistive devices to promote independence Supervise COTAs and therapy aides as appropriate Maintain a safe treatment environment and follow infection control procedures
Qualifications Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy required Master's or Doctorate preferred
License:
Current California Occupational Therapy license in good standing
Preferred Skills:
